Optometrist Dr. Janette Hildebrand has been practicing in Santa Rosa for over ten years and is pleased to be rejoining Sonoma Eyeworks®. “Sonoma Eyeworks® has the ideal atmosphere for providing  quality eye care and also offers a unique collection of fashion eyewear.”

She received her doctorate degree in Optometry, her master’s degree in Physiological Optics, and her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley.

Prior to her Optometric training, Dr. Hildebrand spent time as a substitute elementary school teacher. This experience helped her realize how much she enjoys working with children.

She feels fortunate that she has been able to achieve a comfortable balance between her professional and family life. She lives in Santa Rosa with her husband, two daughters and an ever growing multitude of pets! Dr. Hildebrand enjoys ballet, gardening, camping, spending time with her family, and volunteering in her daughters’ schools.
