Dr. Jeffrey Ricks
Born and raised in the Bay Area, optometrist Dr. Ricks joined our team of doctors in 2009. He has his own private practice in the East Bay.
He received his doctorate degree of optometry from UC Berkeley in 2007 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Chinese studies from Brigham Young University. While attending graduate school, he worked as an optician and understands the importance of the frame and lens selection process.
He was awarded the UCBSO academic achievement scholarship and is a member of the Golden Key national honor society.
In his spare time Dr. Ricks enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with family, and playing with his Shih Tzu “Poofy” (He didn’t name the dog!).
