Sonoma Eyeworks® on-site laboratory can provide same day service on most single vision prescriptions and here’s the reason why.

Our investment in the new Briot Alta Edging System is the only in-office edging system that does everything including drilling rimless lenses automatically. It sets the standard for in-house finishing with expert results.

Wayne Wilmsen, a founding member of the Sonoma Eyeworks® team, is our Optical laboratory manager. He has over 16 years experience and fabricates the unique fashion forward eyewear Sonoma Eyeworks® is known for in Sonoma County. In “Wayne’s World”, he works with our vendors throughout the United States and abroad on a daily basis, placing orders for optical frames and lenses.

Outside of work, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family, wife Denelle and son, Troy. Wayne has demonstrated to Troy the unique process of how to create eyewear and hopes to turn “Wayne’s World” over to him!
